Once you’ve created your campaign and set it live, it’s time to share it with the world and start collecting video. Here’s a quick demo from Vouch’s Product Marketer Angela Dickinson, taking you through the four ways to collect video with Vouch.

Four ways to collect video with Vouch

  1. Share a link

The easiest and most common way to collect video with Vouch is with a link. You can copy the URL of your campaign and paste it into a message or email.

  1. Record from your site

Add a button or an inline recorder directly into your website so people can respond to your campaign right there and then. Airmeet used an inline recorder to collect video submissions for their Creator Studio initiative. Creators could get the context they needed by watching the cover video, view the questions and hit record, without ever leaving their website.

  1. Use a QR code

Vouch automatically generates a QR code for each campaign. Perfect if you're having an in person event and you're creating banners or flyers.

  1. Share on social media

Post straight to your social channels to source your video content from your audience there.

How to maximize responses

We’ve watched thousands of campaigns go live on our platform and have tracked what makes the best ones so successful. We wrote this blog on how to maximize your response rate and collect more video, but here are our three top tips.

Widen the aperture

If you want to collect a lot of video you’ll need to share your request widely and use a combination of collection methods. Creating a systematic, always-on request can help. Start by identifying your high-frequency customer touch points and insert your request there.

Give them a heads up

The more context you give someone about your Vouch request, the higher it moves it up their to-do list. If you want to give your customer, candidate or team member a heads up before a Vouch request comes their way, try our email template. Or find more tips in our The Best Way to Ask For a Video Testimonial blog.

Keep it consistent with your brand

If you want to build trust in the recording process and create a completely on brand experience, you can customize your video request with your colors and logo. Customers that include custom branding on the Vouch Recorder enjoy a 23% better conversion rate. Try it with a 14 day trial of our Starter plan.
